Dating in the 90's

Dating in the 90's is not exactly the easiest thing to do. People all over the place criticize you for anything you say or do, and people expect you to be totally "PC" so you won't affend anyone.

I personally feel that people should not be so worried. I have had people look at me when my girlfriend pays for something (or even worse to these people pays for ME something) like it is the end of the world. Why? Because the person who cares about me and decided to go out with me occasionally pays? Listen folks, if I paid every time we went out there would be a whole lot less dates, and I would be so poor right now that I would be reduced to chips as my main meal. Hold on...I alredy am. Ok....I think you get the point. If I had to pay for everything I would be broke, and almost anyone would. So, I say let the woman pay sometimes. Women fought for their rights so much...let them occasionally foot the bill!

I also feel that a woman should feel free to ask a man out. Some are. They deserve an award, because most just sit around and flirt, or keep it inside. Why not ask? It's the 90's...you're liberated. Do what you want! Guys have been getting shot down for too long! Let some women start getting shot down!

With the modern attitudes, dating is pretty much open to interpretation. According to the dictionary, if two friends go to a movie or something, it's a date. Ok, as long as your signifigant other doesn't get upset! Anyway, where do you like to take your date? The movies, dinner, the theatre, sports, to your room?
Send me your opinions on this folks!
