SURE Grant Work

Casting Trawl Nets on the Ohio River.

Research

I am working on my Bachelors in Environmental Science from Marshall University. I am currently researching benthic fish communities using substrate mapping and trawling techniques. I am very interested in lotic systems especially the interactions of benthic fishes and their habitat. I am currently funded by SURE through grant moneys to study the  benthic fish communities of the Kanawha river and their relationship to substrate composition using trawling.
