Bah! I should really post more often, if for no other reason than for a therapy session of sorts :)
My new role as systems architect has been full of challenges thus far, but they all pale in comparison to the "consultant" that was brought on for this particular project I've been working on. Without going into great detail, we almost came to blows this afternoon, his saving grace being my *gasps* thinking before I jumped up and doing my best to knock him back to the Stone Age from whence he came :)
Neeldess to say, after shouting a slew of expletives at me, in a feeble attempt to invoke a similar outburst from yours truly, he was convinced he could force me into his warped version of conflict resolution. To which I responded that it would be best that we talk about it on Monday and go from there. At this point I'm not sure I want to even do that, since I'm not quick to forgive those to are gregarious and simply aren't capable of rational debate.
Monday should be... interesting to say the least :)
